Machine knitted wool  in royal blue, lime green, red, white and black. This Jacquard (control mechanism that automates the patterning) jacket is decorated with vertical stripes on the chest, streaky stripes on the sleeves and across the front waist but has warning labels for hazards on the back. It has a zip down the front and a fold down collar.

Inside the large printed label proclaims:

Protect and Survive, This garment is designed to provide the necessary protection for cold weather and survival conditions in a high pressure and hazardous environment. Appropriate underclothing must be worn. Designed in England by G Force.
